The Rolling Stones are the legendary British rock band known for many popular hits, such as Paint it Black, Lady Jane, Ruby Tuesday, and (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction. Their song "Satisfaction" (1965) was composed by Keith Richards in his sleep, and with the addition of provocative lyrics by Mick Jagger it became the greatest hit and their calling card on each and every show.

20th century recording artist Mahalia Jackson, known as the Queen of Gospel, is revered as one of the greatest musical figures in U.S. history. 

Born on October 26, 1911, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Mahalia Jackson started singing as a child at Mount Moriah Baptist Church and went on to become one of the most revered gospel figures in the U.S. Her recording of “Move On Up a Little Higher” was a major hit and she subsequently became an international figure for music lovers from a variety of backgrounds. She worked with artists like Duke Ellington and Thomas A. Dorsey and also sang at the 1963 March on Washington at the request of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. She died on January 27, 1972.

Amelia from Portugal

Amélia Rey Colaço (1898-1990) was a portuguese actress and theatre director of National Theatre in Portugal. 

Amélia Schmidt Lafourcade Rey Colaço Robles Monteiro (1898—1990)  Considered the most prominent figure in the portuguese theatre of the 20th century, she received very early an education in the Arts - her father, Alexandre Rey Colaço, was a pianist, composer and a tutor of the princes, and her grandmother, Madame Reinhardt, had a literary and musical salon in Berlin.

At the age of 15 She decided to go on the stage, after watching the plays from the austrian director Max Reinhardt. Colaço had her debut in 1917, in the play "Marinela" by Benito Pérez Galdós. 

Throughout her life and career Amélia was cherished by the public receiving several special mentions and her last role was at the age of 87.

Kiki de Montparnasse (1901 - 1953)

Alice Ernestine Prin was born in a deprived environment and after having experienced all kinds of odd jobs, including being a nude model for a sculptor at only 15, she entered an artistic environment. Close to Chaim Soutine, she spent time with the Montparnasse artistic figures in such places as La Rotonde while she began sitting for Amadeo Modigliani and Tsugouharu Foujita. Soon, in the 1920s, she became the 'Queen of Montparnasse' and established her legendary persona with her short hair, bright red lips and smoky eyes, the whole under the name Kiki de Montparnasse. In 1921, she was Man Ray's lover and favourite sitter. She befriended such figures as André Breton and Max Ernst as well as Ernest Hemingway and she became the muse of a bohemian Parisian Left Bank. From the 1930s, the icon slowly declined and to finance the medical care for her mother and husband, Kiki de Montparnasse opened a cabaret in 1936 before dying obese and a drug addict.

Man Ray (born Emmanuel Radnitzky, August 27, 1890 – November 18, 1976) was an American visual artist who spent most of his career in France. He was a significant contributor to the Dada and Surrealist movements, although his ties to each were informal. He produced major works in a variety of media but considered himself a painter above all. He was best known for his photography, and he was a renowned fashion and portrait photographer. Man Ray is also noted for his work with photograms, which he called "rayographs" in reference to himself.
