The Rizal Monument is a memorial monument in Rizal Park in Manila
 it is dedicated to Jose Rizal, patriot and martyr.

Jose Rizal oli patriootti ja  kansallissankari.  Hänestä kerrotaan paljon tarinoita, jotka esittävät hänet lukuisia kieliä osaavana yleisnerona. Hän opiskeli euroopassa lääketiedettä ja harrasti runoutta ja kuvataiteita. Hän kirjoitti mm. maan kansallisrunon Mi Último Adiós eli viimeiset jäähyväiset.
