From October 7 through March 6 of each year Cadillac Mountain is the first places you can see the sun rise in the United States.  It is the major destination for visitors to Acadia National Park. Accessible by car, it is the highest point on the east coast of the U.S., and offers magnificent views of a glaciated coastal and island landscape.
