The Drottningholm Palace is the private residence of the Swedish royal family.  In 1991 Drottningholm was the first Swedish attraction put on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites.

Palladian Bridge or Chinese Bridge in Schwetzingen  Palace Garden

Schwetzingen Palace is a schloss in the German state of Baden-Württemberg.  It is situated in Schwetzingen,  and is most notable for its spacious and ornate gardens. Other than these exceptionally well preserved gardens and the palace proper, the compound also features the Schlosstheater Schwetzingen, the principal venue for the annual Schwetzingen Festival.

Pavlovsk Palace, Italian Hall, St. Petersburg, Russia

Pavlovsk Palace is an 18th-century Russian Imperial residence built by Catherine the Great for her son, Grand Duke Paul, in Pavlovsk, within Saint Petersburg. There is nothing particularly Chinese about this charming building in the southern corner of the park at Oranienbaum. Built by Antonio Rinaldi between 1762 and 1768, it was the first major building project to be ordered by Catherine the Great, who planned for the building to serve as her private dacha. In fact the Empress spent only 48 days there during the 34 years of her reign. However, the building is considered one of the finest examples of rococo in Russia.

Antonin Palace

Antonin Palace was founded by prince Antoni Radziwiłł. It’s a wooden palace in hunters’ style designed by Karol Fryderyk Schinkel on the plan of a Greek cross.
