Heinola  is a town and a municipality of 18,349 inhabitants (31 December 2021) located in the eastern part of the Päijänne Tavastia region, Finland.  It is the third largest municipality in the region in terms of population after Lahti and Hollola.

Kaskinen is a town, municipality and island of Finland. It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Ostrobothnia region. The population of Kaskinen is 1,288 (31 December 2021)The population density is 122.78/km2 (318.0/sq mi). The population is bilingual with a majority speaking Finnish (68%) and the minority Swedish (28%).

Kaskinen is the smallest municipality in Finland with a town status The town is located on an island with two bridges to the mainland, and its only border neighbor is the town of Närpes.

Svenska dagen - Ruotsalaisuuden päivä - Finnish Swedish Heritage Day

  Finnish Swedish Heritage Day (Swedish: Svenska dagen, Finnish: Ruotsalaisuuden päivä) is a general flag day, which is celebrated in Finland on November 6. The day celebrates the Swedish-speaking population of Finland, their culture, and the bilinguality of Finland. The main celebrations are aired on the radio, and many smaller celebrations are held around Finland in schools. Usually, the song Modersmålets sång is sung, celebrating the mother tongue. The Finnish Swedish Heritage Day is celebrated on the same day as Gustavus Adolphus Day in Sweden, the day that king Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden was killed at the Battle of Lützen in 1632.

The population of Kristinestad is 6,599 (31 January 2019) The population is bilingual with a majority speaking Swedish (57%) and the minority Finnish (42%).The town was chartered in 1649 by Per Brahe the Younger at Koppö island and is named for Queen Christina of Sweden. Kristinestad is known for its old town with low wooden houses and narrow alleys. In April, 2011, Kristinestad became Finland's first Cittaslow community.

Porvoo- Borgå

Porvoo - Borgå  is a city and a municipality situated on the southern coast of Finland. It is one of the six medieval towns in Finland, first mentioned as a city in texts from the 14th century. Porvoo is the seat of the Swedish-speaking Diocese of Borgå of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland.

The municipality's official languages are Finnish and Swedish. In 2014, 64.6% of the population spoke Finnish as their native language, while 30.1% were Swedish speakers.
