Roses for Graduates

5.6. 1993 our daughter's graduation day

5.6.1999 our son's graduation day

Thousands of students across the country shall get their report cards, diplomas and student’s caps on Saturday, after graduating from upper secondary school. This year in Finland about 28 000 students  will celebrate their white cap and graduation.

Congratulations to all graduates! Wishing you the best of luck in the future.

What a nice tie in to Beth's theme! That's interesting that it is on the same day for everybody. Our school system is not so co-ordinated.

Thank you Violet! The day when school year ends is the same for everybody, it must be on Saturday in week 22, sometimes it is in May sometimes in June. This year school year ends on 1.6. School year begins usually around the middle of August but it varies depending on the lenght of autumn holidays, but the whole school year must be 190 days.

Wow these are so nice! I specially like the first and second ones.

Did you commission these artworks for your daughter and son's graduations?
