Peter Blake is a contemporary British artist known for his association with the Pop Art movement. He is perhaps best known for creating the album cover for The Beatles’s Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band in 1967. In 2002 he was knighted at Buckingham Palace for his services to art.
