Antoni Gaudi  (1852 -1926 )

Antoni Gaudí was a Spanish architect known as the greatest exponent of Catalan Modernism. Gaudí's works have a highly individualized, and one-of-a-kind style. The Palau Güell  (Güell Palace) is a mansion designed by Antoni Gaudí for the industrial tycoon Eusebi Güell and built between 1886 and 1888. It is situated on the Carrer Nou de la Rambla, in the El Raval neighbourhood of the city of Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Works of Antoni Gaudí".

Most of Gaudi's works are located in Barcelona, including his main work, the church of the Sagrada Família.
