Church of Assumption of Virgin Mary
Menetes, Karpathos, Greece
The church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary in the area Menetes was constructed in the 19th century. This is the most famous church of Karpathos and gives amazing view to the surrounding region. For its construction, columns from the ancient site of Arkassa were used. The church celebrates in honor of the Virgin Mary every august 15th.
