Croft House TalesHorses were essential in the hard labour of the countryside whether tilling the soil or harvesting the crops, In the winter time horses hauled logs from thr woods and on Sundays horses-pulled sledges took people tothe churchor to visit friends and family. Horses were valued greatly.
