Kauhava church 

 Kauhava Church is a neo-Gothic , tower-like long church in Kauhava . The church was designed by architect Josef Stenbäck . The church accommodates 950 people. The church was built of red brick and gray granite between 1923 and 1925 and was inaugurated on October 4, 1925. The formerly existing wooden church of 1756 was burnt down in 1921.

The church’s architectural example was the Roman temple of Pantheon. The church was completed in 1798. The architect was Louis Jean Deprez, court painter to King Gustav III. The altar painting depicts the Saviour’s appearance to Mary Magdalene.

Sunsets

The beautiful and historically significant Helsinki Cathedral is an Evangelic Lutheran church, and for many it is the symbol of Helsinki. The church was designed by architect Carl Ludwig Engel in the 19th century as part of the Empire-style-downtown Helsinki area. The cathedral was completed in 1852.

Häme Castle in Hämeenlinna is one of Finland's medieval royal castles. It is believed to have been built at the end of the 13th century.

Kristiinankaupunki / Kristinestad  was named by the Queen Kristina of Sweden.
