It is the best-preserved medieval royal residence in Portugal, being inhabited more or less continuously from at least the early 15th century to the late 19th century. The Peter and Paul Fortress is the original citadel of St. Petersburg, Russia, founded by Peter the Great in 1703 and built to Domenico Trezzini's designs from 1706 to 1740 as a star fortress. A Pérola do Bolhão, traditional grocery in Porto

A Pérola do Bolhão is a traditional grocery store in downtown Porto.  This grocery has a large variety of quality products, from mountain cheese to dried fruits, from good wine to delicatessen and Portuguese traditional cookies. The façade has beautiful Art Noveau style entrance covered in Portuguese tiles. If you look closely you’ll realize that the images are of women holding tea plants and coffee plants, as the lettering on top refers to Tea (“Chá”) and Coffee (“Café”).
